Yearly Neurological Exam for Back Joint Pain

Hi everyone,
I hope all is well for you and your families. I know this pandemic has taken a toll on all of us but lets continue to get through it with our health. It has been nice to see people still come in over the last year.  I feel bad that many of you have not had a consistent treatment plan of covid impact. I would like to extend an invitation to everyone to come back in and get a yearly neurological evaluation.  Following the exam, you will have exercises and a neurological health plan. I understand that many of you are still working from home but we have free parking in the building and I feel this is an important exam. During the pandemic, I have taken the time to complete a masters level program in continued education in neurology. This program uses the newest evidence based rehab which allows me to address more conditions and far more treatment options that you can do either at the clinic or at home. If it has been a long time since you came in, we now give exercise easy to follow videos to do at home after each visit.

Scheduling an evaluation is important if you have:

Chronic pain (pain or symptoms that you have had for over 4 weeks)? We have new therapies for chronic pain including breathing exercises, lymphatic therapies and movement educations. Chronic pain comes with neurotags and we need to retrain your nervous system to stop creating pain.

Joint pain or restrictions? We have added bone rhythm exercises, cupping/joint flossing, muscle weakness and opposing joint therapies. For those of you that have tried these so far, it has been amazing how the pain can go away almost instantly.
We now have more neurological and brain based therapies.

For example did you know:

1. Cerebellum affects your balance, coordination and walking

2. Brain stem controls most of the cranial nerves so if it is not working properly you may have: pain more on one side of the body, unable to balance on one leg with eye open or closed, loss of senses such as hearing, vision, taste and smell.

3. Vestibuloocular reflex (VOR)  which affects your vision while you walk, move your head. If this is not working correctly, you are more at risk of back injuries with certain head movements or body movements.

4.Peripheral nerve damage leads to pain in the arms and legs.  This nerve damage also will cause muscle weakness.

5.  Dural fascia spasm can be causing many of the headaches that people are suffering.  This causes very tight and tender skin on the head and upper neck.

If any of these parts of the brain or nervous system are not working at 100% your back will usually hurt. The brain will create back spasm that lead to back pain, the brain stem will not stop pain sensations and headaches occur because the brain feels threatened.

Since the pandemic we had shortened our hours a little and turned into a walk-in clinic. We are now opening up more hours and blocking off time slots for these exams.

I have attached a link for questionnaire.  (LINK HERE)

Please take a few minutes to fill it out. I have categorized the symptoms to parts of the brain that can be trained to reduce the symptoms.
New therapies include: senaptec station (https://www.senaptec.com/product/sensory-station), KT tapping, cupping, joint floss wraps, colored lens, breathing tools, vibration therapies, vision training, balance training, Rock blade tissue therapy, brain based apps, self lymphatic drainage techniques, and many more combinations.

We will recommend therapies based on your neurological and new spinal exam.  I really hope I can get everyone in over the next month or two for this evaluation.

Happy Holidays,
