Six ingredients make tacos as simple as they’re supposed to be.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 12 small corn tortillas
  • 1 medium sweet onion, chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup salsa, more if needed

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Sear steak in heavy-bottomed skillet.
  • While steak is cooking, heat tortillas in oven.
  • Once steak is done, slice thinly.
  • Assemble tacos by layering steak, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and salsa on each tortilla.
